Prevent Overcrowding
Our district is growing and our schools must grow with it in order for Socorro ISD to maintain their excellent educational standards. During the last two years, the District grew by 1,400 students and expects to add another 700 this year!
New Construction:
New Elementary No. 30 (Proto-Typical Design) (2019-20)
To be built in the Pebble Hills feeder to relieve Butler Elementary School.
New Middle School (2019/20)
To be built in the Eastlake feeder to relieve Col. John O. Ensor Middle School.
New Elementary No. 31 (Proto-Typical Design) (2022-23)
To be built in the Eastlake feeder to accommodate growth.
