Socorro ISD facilitiess are mature and outdated, not only for students but their technology as well.  SISD will gain new, secure space allocated for technology. With rapid student growth in SISD, more students need transportation to and from school. In order to accommodate all students, more buses are needed! In order to keep our buses in the best shape, more space is needed to protect all SISD buses!

DSC/Technology

• Additional parking with overflow capabilities
• Provide a more secure location for the Network Operation Center (NOC)
• Provide additional office space for Technology Department
• Provide additional meeting rooms for training and staff development

Maintenance & Operations

Provide a more centralized location for the M&O department. The current 1960 warehouse is inadequate for the current operations. District has occupied the facility since 1994.

Transportation

More buses = more space needed!
Provide a canopy structure for maintaining the District’s vehicles.
