Keep Our Kids & Teachers Safe

Let’s face it – the world has changed. Our teachers and students deserve safe working and learning environments.

Over the last decade, school districts throughout Texas have taken steps to control entry of visitors to campuses during school hours by restricting authorized entry to the front door, instituting compulsory registration at the front desk, requiring visitors to wear an authorized badge for campus-wide identification, and checking visitors out before they may exit the building.

This protocol empowers staff to challenge visitors who are not badged, lets the campus administration know when and how many visitors are on campus, and works to restrict entry to unauthorized visitors. If the Socorro ISD Bond passes, it would bring new security vestibules to keep our kids & teachers safe.
